Innovating Sustainable Water Solutions

A student-led initiative at Cornell University developing eco-friendly desalination systems powered by ocean wave energy

Our Subteams

Four specialized teams working together to advance sustainable water technology

Membrane

The Membrane Subteam is dedicated to developing and optimizing advanced filtration membranes for desalination systems. By researching innovative materials and techniques, the team ensures efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective water purification.

Mechanical

The Mechanical Subteam focuses on designing and building the physical components of the desalination system. From wave energy harnessing mechanisms to structural frameworks, this team ensures the system operates efficiently and reliably.

Business

The Business Subteam manages project funding, sponsorships, and outreach efforts. They develop strategies to secure resources, maintain partnerships, and communicate the team's vision to stakeholders.

Community Connections

The Community Connections Subteam bridges the gap between the project and the public. They focus on education, outreach, and collaboration with communities to raise awareness about sustainable water solutions.
